[Q] Issue on GT-N7000

Hi Team XDA,

I am facing issues with my GT-N7000

1. I was running on Slim saber 4.4.4 with TWRP
2. I flashed CWM 6.0.4.5 in TWRP and after restart my phone went in to Bootloop.
3. Then I restarted my phone on Download mode and flashed Stock Rom 4.1.2 from Sam Mobile on my GT-N7000 using Odin
4. It Stuck on Samsung logo again
5. I was trying to boot recovery mode but it was not booting (to wipe Data/Cache/Dalvik Cache)
6. I am able to start phone in Download Mode only and not Recovery mode. (using Hardware Keys)

Can anyone help me out coming out of this. I still believe if i can wipe my data/Dalvik/System Cache using ODIN my phone will start.

[Q] Cannot flash pit, kernel and rom

Hi team XDA,

I have problem,
My SGN was stuck on samsung logo,
i read carefully in other thread, than i try to flashing kernel. got failed.
i try and try again to flash n always fail too, stuck on nand write start
everything i tried to flashing kernel, rom, pit is got not success.

- all patch pit i try fail. - stuck on nand write start.
- using stock kernel from philz,
- custom kernel franco, speedmod,


please, can somebody help and guide me?

remove all call functions

Hello I have an N7000 Note that is not in use but want to use it for my kids to just play on it.
so I want to remove all possibility to make any phone call include emergency.
remove sim card only don't disable emergency.
What I did was remove dialer.apk contacts.apk contactprovider.apk mms.apk teleprovider.apk.
I run Cyanogenmod 11
here it seems ok and working no error. and cant call anything. just want the lock screen don't say emergency call only.
then I remove teleservice.apk. then on lock screen it now don't mention no sim card - emergency call only

so I think now yay its working but when did the last one when go from lock screen it say systemUI crash och it locks try again same thing.
so my question is can I remove all call function include emergency and on lock screen it don't say anything about emergency call only.

Hi, this is a really marvelous site. Very useful. I'm still learning about this side of android. I've installed 2 different custom roms.
1 Omni
2 SlimKat

With both roms i've had the same problem which is that the wifi stops working after a few days. It's impossible to enable it. I've investigated possible solutions, but i don't know enough to really be confident about what to do next. Should I:
option 1 - flash the kernel (does the kernel control the wifi drivers, etc?) If so, which kernel should I use? Can I use any Kernel? Where do I get them from? Is it done in recovery mode? Compatible with any recovery program?
option 2 - Flash the radio? Does the radio control the wifi or only the 3G/2G coms? How would I flash the radio? Where can I find the right radio?
option 3 - something else, entirely different?

Greetings to all, and thank you in advance for your answers and advice.

Here , in possession of a samsung galaxy note 1 for a little more than a year, I 've realized that I had ferrari equipped with an engine moped ^^

My concern is:

my data :

model : GT- N7000
android Version : 2.3.6
baseband : N7000XXLB2
kernel: 2.6.35.7 - N7000XXLC1 - CL1003701 se.infra@SEP-53 # 2
GINGERBREAD.XXLC1 Version


and will wish to spend in jelly bean or kitkat .

after many a forum and tutorials Potash I 've realized that I would have to change everything ....

I specify that it is already ROOTE and dessimloké .

could you m indicate tutorials that would allow me to realize my wish?

Team XDA,

Can anyone please give me link to download Tar.Md5 file for few custom roms.
I am not able to start my GT-N7000 in Recovery mode, n m stuck on Boot loop. So the only thing i can do is go in download mode.

I tried to flash different recoveries using odin but it wont went to Recovery mode. also, as m not able to go in recovery, m not able to wipe cache and which is causing issue n m stuck on bootloop.

if its not possible can anyone help me and tell how to convert .zip file to .tar.md5 file

I just bought a Note1 and he was ver slow. i decide to install a custom rom , finally i've installed sokp rom but my spen is not active. i've lost s motion and s pen functions. is there an custom rom with these functions ??? thx alot guys

Help! Flashed paranoid android 4.6 beta 5 and my note is messed up

These are the problems. I did a clean flash and cleared the cache partition, and did a factory reset.


1. No notifications appear at all. Even when I have incoming mail and so on, no new notifications appear in the main bar. I only know things are happening when I check individual apps.

2. I have no settings tiles at all in the pull down quick settings. How do I add to this?

3. The default browser cannot be used. When I click on the icon, it opens to a blank screen and closes within half a second. It never stays open.

4. I can't boot into recovery at all. I've installed clockworkmod via Rom manager, but I cannot boot into it, nor can I use the volume up+home+power combo to reach it.

5. The home button doesn't respond at all.


Can anyone help?

Hello new in this forum.....
The threads I read overwhelmed me.... :cyclops:
I have a N7000 from a friend of mine. It had a dedicated 4.0.4 rom from "3" (italian operator) build IMM76D.XXLRL
I tried to install a new italian rom 4.1.2 via odin but every attempt failed
Unfortunately I ended up into a thread about ICS kernel (sorry if I make some mistakes with names but I'm really lost....:confused:)
so downloaded the ICS and with my surprise it was installed into the phone.
From that moment the N7000 hang at samsung logo with the yellow triangle....
And the worst thing It goes in download mode but not in recovery mode.....
I tried to read many post before write, trying to understand waht to do but now I'm totally confused..... md5,tar,img, zip...... kernel,root, cwm., rom .... :eek:
Someone may explain to me if there is something to do to save the phone?

Inquiry on N7000 frequency band (can it be changed?)

Hello, i recently moved from Asia to North America and i found out that the frequency band requirement to be able to have the galaxy note n7000 working in Canada is to have bands 1700/2100. Is there any procedure that i can do to get this supported? Is it a change in baseband, modem, etc? If so, what baseband or modem should i be flashing to get the band 1700/2100 supported?

Would appreciate all suggestions on how to go about this. thank you!

Hello, I'm using Aryamod v8 + Forest Helloworld Make II AM1 Kernel. I'm planning to switch to Geeko's Raw Kernel r3 for Touchwiz, I do have some questions.

Is it okay to flash the Raw Kernel via Philz Recovery? I'm using the latest version. I have no experience and idea on how to use Odin and Heimdall, and my PC is a bit bugged when it comes to USB devices (sometimes it disconnects a middle of operation e.g. copying files). I'm quite skeptical for the risks involved (hard brick issues).


Another thing is, does the r3 for TW raw kernel have 62hz version? Thanks in advance.




PS: I still can't post on Geeko's Raw Kernel thread since I'm not posting a lot in here, I haven't yet reach the required posts needed, so I decided to post my question here. I only read and presses thanks button a lot.

Urgent help me please

I had wipe my phone cache and delvike and now my phone is without any software . each time i mount my sd data in order to install the zip file, it says can't mount. I tried to root it again using odin but the pc can't recognize my phone even though i had installed samsung drivers and kies

S pen gestures doesn't work.

When I pull out the s pen, that dot appears, which is fine; I push the button and reacts accordingly, but as shown under s pen settings, and gestures help, none of those work when "gesturing"

I recently changed to a new motherboard and with all the changes, the s pen still doesnt perform gestures. Its like this feature is missing from the os, or worse, from the phone. I think it used to work long ago, but was forgotten in time.

tldr: s pen gestures dont work on stock rom jelly bean.

What could the solution be... ty.

Possible to install a stock Samsung JB rom straight from TWRP Recovery Recovery?

Hi all, I currently have my n7000 using TWRP recovery, rooted with a Omnirom 4.4.4 on it but for some reason it's quite unstable and I miss the S-Pen functionality, is it possible to install that 700mb+ stock Samsung JB 4.1.2 Rom from inside the custom recovery without issues like custom roms or do I have to do it differently?

EDIT: Actually is it ok to flash the stock rom with Odin, from a custom rom'd phone? that'd be simpler I think.

her phone suddenly shut down and won't open again, only showing samsung, then she pressed the home button,down volume, and the lock button, then chose download custom os
later she kept charging it but nothing happed for 3 hours the screen says it is downloading, pleasehelp

[Q] my note doesn't boot up

i was trying to downgrade from revolt rom (kit kat 4.4.4) to sweet rom (jb) 4.1.2
so i flashed philz kernal so that i could install the rom
after that i wiped every thing and installed the rom
then once its booted up it stuck in setup menu
then i installed speedmod kernal
and rebooted system, then a black screen appeared and also no recovery
i went to download mod then i found this
custom binary download : yes (2 counts)
current binary: custom

and also a yellow triangle appears if i tried to boot up the sevise

please tell me what to do or refer to any helpful topic
my devise is gt-n7000

Hey,

I've been searching for a Kernel the past few days that allows Swapfile and Voltage Control. So far I've tried:

So far I am yet to find a kernel that allows voltage control with CM11.

Im using CM11 on the latest nightly
