i need one way for record my call.
today i record only my voice, the interlocutor voice is very down.
how i do to resolve this problem?
which ROM or KERNEL support 2way cal recorder?

WiFi not turning ON after installing Omni ROM

Galaxy Note GT-N7000, I was on CM 11 and everything was working fine. I made my mind to try out Omni ROM. Installed TWRP and Omni ROM. Since then WiFi is not turning ON. When tried to turn ON from settings, the button moves to ON state stays grey for few seconds and moves back to Off. Now even after installing stock ROM or CM 11, the WiFi is not turning ON and same behavior observed.
Tried the following:
  1. Factory reset.
  2. Installed stock JB ROM.
  3. Again installed CM 11 by doing wiping /data, /system, /cache.
  4. Installed Custom Kernel
  5. Based on the suggestions at some posts, opened up the phone to check any dust or hardware related issues, but nothing.
It doesn't seems to be a hardware issue, as WiFi turns ON occasionally, especially when a new ROM is installed but after a while stops working.
PS: ADB Debug log says "Unable to load driver."

Requesting help from experts on fixing this issue.

I've been running the SOKP ROM which runs kitkat 4.4.4 and I decided to give this phone to my younger bro, but he says he wants the original samsung ROM so I download the ROM from sammobile and also the latest philz kernel. I flashed the kernel from recovery and rebooted, wiped dalvik/cache, formatted system/cache/preload and then flashed the ROM...

BUT..
when I flash the ROM, it starts and then the installation aborts on its own. I've tried it a few times. Did all the wipes again, still no luck.

Can anyone please tell me how to switch from the SOKP rom to TW ? I tried the same method last time and it worked, but this time it just doesn't go that way... What am I doing wrong?

Galaxy Note will not boot at all

Hi there, hoping some of you guys can help. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note that will currently not boot in any way (normal, download or safety mode), wondering if anyone knows what could have caused this or how it could be fixed?

It started a couple of weeks ago when I was watching a YouTube video in the morning. The phone had been fine previously, and the alarm on it woke me up, the YouTube app worked fine, I selected a video and started watching it. About halfway through I needed to exit out of the app to to get to my bus ticket app, but the phone wouldn't respond to any input. The touchscreen wouldn't react to let me pause the video, the volume buttons wouldn't allow me to turn it up or down, the home button wouldn't take me back to the home screen, the screen wouldn't lock, and holding the lock button didn't bring up a menu to turn it off. Because I was in a rush I was forced to take the battery out of the back of the phone and reinsert it to get it to reboot. Then when I turned it on it got stuck on the Samsung screen for about 5 minutes until I decided it wasn't going to go any further and took the battery out again.

Since then the thing won't start at all. I've tried two different batteries with it, and neither makes any difference. The batteries both get warmer when charging, which I think means they must be holding a charge. I'm not sure what else to do. It was running the Android OS and has never been flashed or anything dodgy like that. Can anyone help?

There will NOT!!! be (Android L) PAC-Rom for N7000

Hi Guys,

As we know, PAC-Rom was discontinued for N7000 a while ago now... With no maintainer, no updates...

We had a place on the PACMan site, where our files used to be.... (albeit, they removed them, even for archive purposes??). I queried what happened to PAC for N7000 over the weekend, and although I wasn't informed who the maintainer was, was told no blind builds take place.

Went to have a look at PAC site today, and now they've even removed our folder....

We do not exist on PAC anymore, so will CERTAINLY WON'T be seeing PAC Lollipop for Android, unless we find a new maintainer??

Hi. Im trying many roms on our n7000 but ewery time i find any bugs and FC. Thats why I wana ask u guys about trully stable rom. Now im using miui veganence. Before that i have dirty unicorns and carbon rom or sweet rom. Even cm 11. All of this is slow for me and have small free ram like 160 - 80 mb.

I hope u can help me try some faster roms. Maybe something older?

Worse scores with overclock than stock?!

hallo everyone! :)

i overclocked my phone with Tegrak ,benchmarked with Antutu and i get only 10741 points. on stock i get 15540.
but the phone looks faster than before.
why? whats the problem? :S
im the newest cm 11

[Q] SLIM ROMS comparison: which one is the stablest and lightest?

Hey there everybody,

I'm a newbie and about to flash my JB 4.1.2 N7000.

As I'm looking for stability, smoothness and lightweight
scripts and codes in my ROM to come, over performance/customization,
I'm SlimRoms oriented.

However, I found that devs have worked on SlimRoms
to obtain personal customizations. So the final question is:
which one of the listed below ROMs is more stable and smooth?

SlimKat (original)
Biftor SlimKat
SlimSaber

Of course, if I'm going wrong, meaning that there are lighter ROMs
than SlimRoms, please notify me!

Cm11 battery issue

I installed cm11 nightly and having issues with batter charging. Charging is really slow. And also if i charge to 100 in power off state, after turning phone ON it shows about 70-80% battery only.

[Q] How to add a device to a repo

Hi all, i have been busting my head and still cant find like a proper tuto to do this.
If a repo does not have a phone/tablet added into it, how can i go ahead and add that device to a repo, so it can be synced?

example: add android_device_xxxxxx to the repo list in the repo github

What i will need to change or where.

I would really appreciate your pointing finger to the right way for me to get this.

[Q] Difference between kernel and CWM/recovery

Hey there everybody,

I'm a newbie and about to flash my Note.
Though by now having a quite solid idea of the process,
I'm still stuck on this difference.

Is the kernel different to a CWM (like Philz)? Does the
kernel include the CWM (or viceversa)? CWM is the same
of modified recovery?

Is a kernel flashable afterwards , when a custom ROM
is flashed and working, but non satisfying in regards of its
performance (just an example)?

Also: what is a safe kernel compared to a kernel? A custom kernel?
Or.. safe kernel equals modified recovery? I'm really confused..
