[Q] Galaxy note root and kernel

Hello people,

i have got some questions because i don't understand it good
its about getting root and kernel on my phone
my base band is n7000xxlpt
my kernel 3.0.15-n7000xlpy-cl474507
and my build is iml74k.xxlpy
So now is my question what root and kernel do i need i prefer to Cwm but i don't no witch one
one who has made ​​the forum post says i doesn't matter but i really don't know :P
I have done it before with my samsung galaxy and htc desire hd but with this one i am a little bit confused
Maybe one of you can help me.
