[Q] Firmware version is availabe !!!!!

Hi everyone

I've Rooted device

every time starting Kies i got notified to upgrade

Current firmware : PDA:LPD / PHONE:LPT / CSC:LP7 (XSG)
Latest firmware : PDA:LR8 / PHONE:LRK / CSC:LR8 (XSG)

is it safe to upgrade to latest version not affecting rooting

please advice
