I saw today that my CSC was KOR so I wanted to change it to DBT. Before trying anything I made a backup in Kies. The backup is saved to a .sbu file. I changed the CSC and the phone made a factory reset. Didnt know that, so I was happy that I did a backup first. After the CSC change the phone wanted to update and it did, many times.
After all updates were installed I wanted to restore the backup, but now the phone wont connect to Kies. I've googled about it but cant get it to work. I've had a lot of problems with Kies before so not really a surprise.
Then I tried Kies via Wifi and that was able to connect, but I'm not sure how to restore the backup. There's an import function in Kies but that wont accept .sbu files. Not sure what it wants.
So my questions are:
Can I restore backups when connecting through wifi? Can I restore the .sbu file in any other way? If need to connect through USB, how can I get it to work?
