[GUIDE]Where to start rooting and flashing!FOR NOOBS

For those with no info about rooting and flashing,here's the guide to where to start from!

NOOBS FRIENDLY GUIDE

Before I start,let me tell you all that Galaxy Note N7000 comes with a defective chip and has BRICK BUG! The same problem is with Galaxy S2 also.It also comes with defective chip and has brick bug. So prior to flashing, you need to be running a safe kernel. Safe kernel means a kernel with emmc_cap erase command removed. Just mug up this line-
****DO NOT WIPE WITH STOCK ICS KERNEL****

Now lets begin-
Before you do anything with your device,you should have a safe kernel installed.To get the safe kernel,just follow below mentioned steps-

1.Go to settings>About phone
2.Note down the "Build Number" of your device
In my case its DDLRB (see the picture in attachments)
Now after getting the build number of your device,its time flash a safe kernel.My personal recommendation is to flash PhilZ kernel.His kernel is safe and pre-rooted with safe recovery too.Now head over to this guide

Download the kernel matching with your Build Number.After downloading the kernel,put the downloaded file in the root of your SD card.
Now the complicated part begins..
Thats it!!!!! ur done:D you have a safe kernel installed with safe recovery! Moreover ,your phone is ROOTED too!! You are now free to wipe and flash custom rom!!!! Hooorrayy
