Hello! I have a serious doubt I hope someone can help me.
I am attempting in doing some kernel recompiling for my N7000 and tbh I succeded in it. I used the CM10.1 kernel sources labeled "samsung-smdk4210".
Now I have this doubt:
Which SMDK should I use? I have understood that smdk4 stands for Exynos4 family, and the 4210 board is for SGS2/Note1 while the 4421 board is for SGS3/Note2.
What I don't understand is why there are ROMs (for example the Nightowl 12.1), which sources looks like won't consider a kernel for smdk4210 but only 4421... and work on n7000.
Can anyone shed me some light about?
