I actually use my phone to do stuff... not only tinker endlessly with it. I have Skype, Whatsapp, FB, Twitter running on the device at all times.
Last time I checked, when I boot my phone I have 768 MB in use! So when I open Chrome, or Logmein, it takes.. .forever. Even opening the dialer takes a couple of seconds. The phone itself is smooth - opening apps is what chokes my phone.
I don't overclock my phone (on JB it's impossible, anyway). But I don't think it's a GHz issue. I think that if I had 2 GB of RAM everything would be fine.
Anyway.
Should I get off JellyBean for the time being and go back to ICS? Or, would CM10 be faster and lighter?
I can't believe that when I got my Note a couple of months ago I thought it was blazing fast, and now it seems turtle-like when comparing it to my wife's Optimus 4X :(
