High CPU when screen is turned on

Hi,

New to this forum, so please forgive me if this question does not fit in here.

I use the Intl Galaxy Note (N7000), and decided to migrate to CYM. Since CYM has not have monthly/stable builds since ages (why?), I installed the cm-11-20140928-NIGHTLY-n7000. It is "working", but it is also a battery sucker: each time I turn on the screen, I can see the CPU monitor going to 30%, even so the device is freshly booted. The 3 devil processes are system stuff: system_server, com.android.systemui, and /system/bin/surfaceflinger. As soon as I turn off the screen, the CPU goes down to 0%. Of course, this turns the device basically unusable. I don't have anything fancy in my HOME screen, no live wallpapers or the like.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks!!

L.
