[Q] About the Yellow triangle

When I bought my Galaxy Note, it had stock GB 2.3.6. After a while, I flashed Stock ICS 4.0.4 and Philz Kernel using PC odin to avoid the Brick bug.
From there, I flashed Cyanogenmod, ParanoidAndroid, Slimbean, other ROMs and other kernels.
I NEVER had the yellow triangle. why??:confused:
Is it because of the Philz kernel I used to root the device for the first time?
I am now on Omni 4.4 nightlies and no yellow triangle.

I just need an explanation.
