[Q] bricking note

Is there any sure way to brick or hard brick or make it unrepairable?

I have been given an option that if i break(not damage) my note i will be given note2 in replacement. But so far all i am able to do is soft brick by installing an older ics rom and wipe it. But that was no help.

Alot of you guys have bricked there note and got them replaced. Can Somebody point me in right direction?
