[Q] Can't Access Recovery Mode on cm10.2 4.3

I updated my N7000 though the CM updater in the phone.

Now my phone is on CM 10.2 with Android 4.3. I wanted to update to latest GApps 20130813, post which I am not able to enter the recovery mode!. It always gives me a blank Black screen. Cannot do anything. I can access the download mode though.

Need help fixing the Recovery mode issue please

P.S:
I had issues with the Flex cable earlier which I replaced now... but I presume it is a little not fixed properly due to which my phone does not get detected when connected by cable. It charges only from the dock (as it fits properly).
