[Q] Can't transfer sim contacts to phone

Could someone please assist me on how to transfer sim contacts to device? Every time I try to import sim contacts to device, it just syncs with google contacts. I want it to save to my phone, not sync with google. When I receive calls or messages, only numbers are showing and no names and other apps like Viber seems to not see my contacts. It shows no contacts at all. Before I can see my sim contacts with ICS but now I don't think android 4.3 can recognize. I'm on 4.2 JB vanilla rootbox (4.3). Could anyone please help? Thank you :)
