I can't update my note.. :(

Hello guyz.. Its about a friend of mine..
He can't update his phone.. He can't even see update option..
I mean in settings>about phone.. There is no option to update it..
He also claima that its because his phone is.korean nd somethng..
And his phone is totally stock.. No root, no ntng..

So if anyone can help.. It'll be really appreciated..
