Screen freezes until reboot

Hi guys up until recently I was running a custom rom, I started getting screen freeze on most apps, so flashed back to stock jelly bean, is it possible to Flash too many times as I seem to be getting the app/screen freeze still, I did wanna go back to ics but the brick bug gave me nightmares and I bottled it, when I get the screen freeze I have to take out the battery to reboot, any help appreciated
