my phone doesnt charge well anymore it takes hours and hours to get a full charge so I have to get a new one. But I dont want to end up buying a new battery if it is under warranty. I have like 1 month of warranty left I think
Also do I need to unroot my phone if I want to avail this warranty? or only give them the battery?

from samsung in site

Quote:

Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear (including, without limitation, wear and tear of camera lenses, batteries or displays).

Warranty does not cover defects caused by the fact that the battery has been short-circuited or by the fact that the seals of the battery enclosure or the cells are broken or show evidence of tampering or by the fact that the battery has been used in equipment other than those for which it has been specified.
is this considered wear and tear??
