Bricked and mummified

I had a rooted N7000 android 4.0.4
The CWM I had first, I think, was V3.5 which i saw in "ROM Manager" I installed on the Note
Looked for slim-N7000-4.2.2build6 and downloaded that to the SD
Rom manager told me to download the newest CWM version V?? (probably the 58.1.5) before installing.
Failed twice but third time was OK.
Showed "ROM Manager" the File location on SD, after ticking USB debug and ran the darned show.
Had to reboot second time after CWM turned up
Second boot showed the process of a new ROM being loaded.
That ended with cannot find E:\<Location+ROM> where it, one of its lines earlier claimed its file from.
Unmistakably the same location.
There was no other way than to reboot.
the battery measured with a DVM is 3.8 volt which should be good enough.
the brick gets warm when I have it charged
Still it stays a brick
Neither response nor illumination by Vulcan nerve pinch, or all possible combinations (timely) pressing whatsoever,

Question,
Use for parts or is there a hardware reset (internal organs) or some other way to revive the Note
