AOKP »»» What roms are stable????

Hey

Cant seem to find a solution while going through all the rom threads. some seem discontinued. Now i was on PA Which i think was ics or jb. anyway i had awful battery life so im onJB slimbean which is just great but i wanted a heavy customized rom and i heard aokp roms are just that.

hopefully someone can give me advice on what best kernal to use also for good battery life...or maybe ics is just awful for battery.
