Can anyone suggest why the PhilZ Touch 3 recovery (CWM Base version 6.0.1.9) gets the date wrong on backup files? It's no big deal and I usually rename the file with the correct date but a bit irritating all the same.
When I use ROM Manager Premium to reboot into recovery, the date is correct. However, this launches CWM Recovery v6.0.1.2 so maybe it's something to do with the CWM version.
The reason I prefer the PhilZ Touch 3 recovery is that I get to choose where the backup is stored - ext or int sd card. For some reason, ROM Manager (CWM Recovery v6.0.1.2) only allows backup to int sd (the subject of an earlier thread).
I'm using the latest Ultimate XXLSC 5.1 ROM but it was doing this with other ROMs I've tried.
Any advice would be appreciated - not just to help solve a trivial problem but also to help me to learn more about how stuff works.
