New battery from samsung service centre

I just want to know that i brought my new battery original samsung on February but due to some problem it was not giving backup this month(june), so i have given it to the samsung service centre as it is still in warranty(6 month warranty) so samsung service centre given me new battery which dont have any manufacturing date on it and they also not giving any new warranty on this replace battery they have given me. They given excuse that new battery dont have manufacturing date on it. I just want to conferm is that so? Or they are making me fool by replacing it with old one... Please help
