Started out of the blue tonight while charging at my desk. The phone is making an intermittent high pitched hum and vibration. It is almost like the vibration motor is kicking on and off but it is a much higher frequency buzz than the vibration motor normally emits. Tried a reboot and it started doing it again immediately.
No ROM changes, installed a single application tonight (will uninstall but I have not even opened it yet.
Phone is getting hot :(
Running titanium backup then making a nandroid backup then crossing my fingers and praying.
I am eligible for an upgrade but none of the phones out there really interest me on ATT (and I won't switch, got grandfathered unlimited data and an ATT microcell, so I am married to them).
Phone is otherwise responsive and functional. It just feels like someone has cranked the vibration motor up to double speed and is randomly turning it on and off.
Any suggestions?
