I have had an SDCard of 64 GB installed but I never used it for anything but music, after getting Google Play Music I didn't really need it anymore, it just sat there. Then I got an HP Envy x2 so I thought it a good idea to move the card over to that machine. Unmounted the card and inserted it. After restarting the phone there were lots and lots of apps being greyed out with a little SD Mark next to the Droid icon.
My understanding is that the SDCard is for media storage not installation of apps, looking in the directory I can't see any apps installed, but they all refuse to start up, do I have to reinstall them without the SDCard inserted in the Note?
I assume I can just return the card to the Note, but then I'd be wasting 57 GB just sitting empty and needing to buy a new card for the Envy.
