[Q] Floating Touch on the Galaxy Note?

You know the cool feature from S4.. Where you just put your finger near the touchscreen and it detects it?.. I've heard devs have made it to the Galaxy S and S3, etc.. So my question is, is there a dev who could implement this awesome feature in jb roms?.. Is this even possible? I think it is possible because we have the floating stylus touch feature, so why not with the fingers?
