[Q] how to flash a new rom for my n7000?(please read)

i wanted to flash the AOSP (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2076697) or (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2179332) this for my n7000
and im running stock kernel and stock rom
ive just rooted my device and im running 4.1.2 INU version

im new to this forum and i wanna tweak my android :):D

can any body help me out ?
i mean how the whole thing is done ?(the whole process frm scratch):confused:
coz i dont wanna brick my device

i want the whole deal :D
should i flash a new kernel first?
i mean tell me everything frm scratch :D
